Agreement

By downloading or using Pinx, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Pinx. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

What Pinx is

Pinx is an app that displays your own Pinterest boards and pins using Pinterest’s official API, and adds tools such as shortlists, private notes and tags, search, offline downloads, export and web links. Pinx only reads from Pinterest; it never posts to or changes your Pinterest account.

Pinx is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

Using Pinx

• You need a Pinterest account, and you must follow Pinterest’s terms when viewing Pinterest content through Pinx.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You’re responsible for keeping your phone and Pinterest account secure.
• What Pinx can show depends on what Pinterest’s API provides. For example, it can’t open boards you follow or play pin videos, and Pinterest may change its API at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Pinx to:

• break the law or Pinterest’s terms
• infringe anyone’s copyright or other rights, including by publishing web links containing content you have no right to share
• publish captions in web links that are unlawful, harassing, hateful or misleading
• interfere with, overload or try to gain unauthorised access to Pinx or its backend
• copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law allows it

We may remove a web link that breaks these terms or that we’re legally required to remove.

Your content and Pinterest content

Pins and boards belong to you or their original owners. We claim no ownership of them. You give us permission to access and display your Pinterest content to you, and — when you publish a web link — to host and show the pins and captions you chose to anyone who has the link, until you revoke it. Each pin on a web link credits and links to its source.

Notes, tags, shortlists and downloads are stored on your phone. You’re responsible for keeping your own copies; deleting the app deletes them.

The Pinx app, name, logo and design belong to us.

Pinx Pro and payments

Pinx is free to download. The free version shows 25 boards you choose, with up to 50 pins on each. Pinx Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that removes those limits and lets you download whole boards. It is not a subscription and there are no recurring charges.

• Purchases are made and processed through Apple’s App Store on iPhone and iPad, or Google Play on Android, under that store’s terms and at the price it shows.
• You can restore Pro on another device by tapping Restore Purchase, signed in to the same Apple or Google account. Pro also follows your Pinterest account between iPhone and Android.
• Refunds are handled by the store you bought from, under its refund policy: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or Google Play at support.google.com/googleplay.
• Pro includes future updates to Pinx, but we can’t promise any particular feature, and features that depend on Pinterest may change if Pinterest changes its API.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep Pinx running, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. It may be interrupted by maintenance, Pinterest API changes or outages, or things outside our control.

We may change or discontinue features. If Pinterest withdraws API access, Pinx may stop being able to show your boards.

Ending your use

You can stop using Pinx at any time: sign out, revoke any web links, and delete the app. You can also remove Pinx’s access in your Pinterest settings. We may suspend access to the Pinx backend (for example, publishing web links) if you break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

Pinx is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Pinx. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we’ll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Pinx after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Pinx shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court. You waive your right to a jury trial.
