Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Pinx, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Description of Service

Pinx is a Pinterest viewing application that connects to your Pinterest account to display your boards and saved pins in a clean, ad-free interface. Pinx is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc.

Account Registration

You must have a valid Pinterest account to use Pinx
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pinx
You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account
You're responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

Use Pinx only for lawful purposes
Not use Pinx to violate any local, state, national, or international law
Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Not interfere with or disrupt Pinx or its servers
Not use automated systems to access Pinx in a manner that sends more requests than a human could reasonably produce
Comply with Pinterest's Terms of Service when using their content through Pinx

Acceptable Use

You may not use Pinx to:

Violate Pinterest's Terms of Service
Infringe on anyone's intellectual property rights
Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
Harass, abuse, or harm others
Impersonate any person or entity
Collect or store personal data about other users
Use Pinx for commercial purposes without our written permission

Intellectual Property

Pinx's Rights

The Pinx app, including its code, design, features, and branding, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Pinx.

Your Content

The pins and boards you view through Pinx remain your property (or Pinterest's, as applicable). We don't claim any ownership rights to your Pinterest content. However, by using Pinx, you grant us permission to access and display your Pinterest content to you.

Pinterest's Rights

All Pinterest content accessed through Pinx remains the property of Pinterest, Inc. and its users. Pinx's use of the Pinterest API is governed by Pinterest's Terms of Service and API Terms.

Payments and Refunds

One-Time Purchase

Pinx is available for a one-time purchase of $1.99 (or £1.99 in the UK) through the App Store or Google Play. This gives you lifetime access to all features.

Payment is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store
No recurring charges or subscriptions
Your purchase is tied to your App Store or Google Play account
You can use Pinx on multiple devices with the same account

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled by Apple (for iOS) or Google (for Android) according to their refund policies. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, contact Apple or Google within 14 days of purchase to request a refund.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to Pinx:

If you violate these Terms of Service
If you engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
If Pinterest revokes our API access (affecting all users)
For any reason, with or without cause, with or without notice

Upon termination, your right to use Pinx ceases immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting the app and requesting account deletion.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

Service “As Is”

Pinx is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

No Guarantee of Availability

We don't guarantee that Pinx will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Service may be interrupted due to:

Maintenance and updates
Pinterest API changes or outages
Technical issues beyond our control
Force majeure events

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinx and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

Your use or inability to use Pinx
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from Pinx
Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted through Pinx by any third party

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pinx and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of Pinx, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of another.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of significant changes by email or through the app. Your continued use of Pinx after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Pinx shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, rather than in court. You waive your right to a jury trial.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
